Mission
Our mission is to publish research that improves decision quality. We aim to do this by prioritizing disciplined sourcing, clearly stated assumptions, and a consistent structure across reports.
We write for executives, operators, researchers, and the broader public when topics are best served by accessible, well-documented analysis.
What we publish
- Research Notes: focused analysis on a specific question, risk, or mechanism.
- Industry Outlooks: periodic updates with stated scenarios, drivers, and implications.
- Data Notes: concise updates that explain what changed, why it matters, and where the data comes from.
Methodology
Our baseline methodology emphasizes: (1) clear scope, (2) verifiable sources, (3) explicit assumptions, (4) separation of facts from interpretation, and (5) limitations stated plainly.
Methodology statement (short)Each publication identifies the research question, defines terms, lists sources, and highlights key assumptions and limitations. Readers should evaluate our work in context and consult primary sources whenever possible.
Disclosures
We disclose potential conflicts of interest, sponsorships, affiliate relationships, and material limitations when applicable. If a report is commissioned, sponsored, or otherwise funded, it will be labeled clearly at the top of the report.
